Overview: The livestock and poultry wastewater treatment system is an integrated, complete set of equipment specifically designed to treat high-concentration wastewater generated by livestock and poultry farms (such as pig farms, chicken farms, cattle farms, etc.). Its core function is to remove suspended solids, organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus, and pathogenic microorganisms from the wastewater, thereby enabling compliant discharge and resource recovery. The final effluent consistently meets discharge standards, effectively resolving environmental issues—such as water pollution and soil degradation—caused by the indiscriminate discharge of farm wastewater, and supporting the green and compliant development of the livestock industry.
I. Application Scope
1. Suitable for various scales of livestock farming operations and concentrated farming zones:
2. Pig farms, cattle farms, sheep farms
3. Chicken farms, duck farms, goose farms
4. Livestock and poultry farming communities/parks, farming cooperatives
5. Comprehensive treatment of manure and wastewater from slaughterhouses and farms
6. Treatment of effluent from aquaculture operations
II. Equipment Advantages:
Compatible with high-concentration wastewater from pig, chicken, and cattle farms; corrosion-resistant; suitable for both underground and above-ground installation; compact footprint; features fully automatic PLC control and remote monitoring capabilities; generates low sludge volume; and facilitates resource recovery through composting.
III. Process Flow
Wastewater Collection → Bar Screen → Equalization & Sedimentation Tank → Integrated Anaerobic Treatment → Anoxic/Aerobic (A/O) Treatment → Sedimentation → Disinfection → Compliant Discharge / Resource Recovery
IV. Process Explanation:
1. Wastewater Collection
Collects wastewater generated from barn flushing as well as mixed manure and urine effluent.
2. Bar Screen
Removes large solid debris such as manure residues, feed scraps, and plastic bags.
3. Equalization & Sedimentation Tank
Balances water volume and quality, performs preliminary sedimentation of manure solids, and reduces the load on subsequent treatment stages.
4. Integrated Anaerobic Treatment
Degrades the majority of COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) and organic matter; generates biogas that can be recovered and utilized as a resource.
5. A/O Biochemical Treatment (Anoxic + Aerobic)
Efficiently removes ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, and organic matter; serves as the core treatment unit of the system.
6. Sedimentation Tank
Settles biochemical sludge and separates solids from liquids.
7. Disinfection Tank
Sterilizes and disinfects the effluent, eliminating E. coli and pathogenic bacteria. 8. Clarified Water Tank
Effluent meets discharge standards, or is reused for flushing, irrigation, or replenishing fish ponds.
9. Sludge / Manure Residue Treatment
Screening Residue + Sedimentation Tank Sludge → Sludge Collection Tank → Filter Press Dewatering → Raw Material for Organic Fertilizer / Transported Off-site for Disposal.
